This module focuses on setting you up for success from the beginning, keeping you on track throughout, and streamlining your grad school application process with provided tools, resources, and recommendations.

Module 2:

Resumes

In this module, you'll learn how to write & refine your resume using descriptive power words based on your specific experiences, while ensuring the fonts and layout provide the best reading experience for reviewers. Six resume templates are provided, giving you a variety of helpful examples. You'll also learn how to build upon your resume to create your personal statement.

Module 3:

Personal Statements & Essays

This goes way beyond the basics with a deep dive into how to: Write your best personal statement, highlight and demonstrate your unique skills and strengths (even when your GPA/GRE scores/experiences don't stand up against the competition), create strong responses to essay prompts, and tailor your personal statement and essays to each individual school.

Module 4:

This module is dedicated to the extras! Master your video & interview prep with step-by-step outlines and all the best tips, tools, and resources to stand out. This module also guides you through completing all the tedious extra and supplemental tasks for applications in no time, ensuring that you've successfully conquered every requirement.

I know how tough it is to feel anxious, stressed, and stuck throughout the grad school application process.


When I applied to grad schools in 2016, I had no one to look to for advice.


I always wondered how different my application experience would be if I had someone to help me through the process.


A year later, when younger students started asking me questions about grad school applications, I was so eager to help because I was once in their shoes - wishing I'd had someone to ask the very same questions!


Since that year, I have helped hundreds of students through the SLP grad school application process.


Now I want to help you in the most comprehensive way I can:

How do I access this course?

Upon purchase, you will receive a confirmation email and instructions for creating your account to access your learning platform right away.


Each module's videos will be accessed on your learning platform, along with individual downloadable resources for each video.

When does the course start?

You will gain access to the course immediately and can work through it at your own pace.

How long do I have access to the course?

You have unlimited access for 1 full year. If you happen to have application due dates further than a year in advance, simply send your due dates to Alyssa at hello@speechlyss.com and she will extend your access past that date.

I've already started on my application. Is this course for me?

Yes! This course is for anyone going through the grad school application process, regardless of where you're at in it!


There is such valuable information contained in the course and its resources for every step of the application process. If you're stuck on personal statements, skip right to the personal statement module and dive in.


I do encourage all students to at least watch the organization videos in Module 1 even if you're nearing the end of your application process when you access this course. The videos will help you streamline the rest of your application process and ensure that you are completing each and every step with ease.

When will my application be complete?

Every module is designed to give you immediate action steps that will build your entire application. If you put in the work and take advantage of all of the provided resources and information, you can finish your application in less than a month after starting your course if you are in a time crunch.


If you're starting early, take your time in each module, spending a full week in Module 1 to get organized and plan your application process.


Then, dive into the incredible amount of info in the resume and personal statement modules, going back to individual lessons as many times as you need to craft your very best application!


When you're ready, dig into the final two modules to guide you all the way through submission with confidence :)
